Angelique
N. Gray-Thompson is a Director for a social service agency for the past 18
years who was led to go into the field of child welfare due to her past traumas of
being a victim of child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence and homelessness. To heal from the effects of her trauma, she leaned on her faith to overcome her traumatic experiences which began at an early age.

Gray-Thompson has worked in building for-profit and non-profit organizations for
over 27 years, while specializing in non-profit and grant writing for the past
20 years. Angelique Gray-Thompson has
been a public speaker for the past 15 years as she has addressed issues
relating to domestic violence, teen dating violence, and the effects of mental
health on children. She has mentored
adolescents and created curriculums to assist those who have had a history of exposure
to family violence. While also serving
as a mentor to adolescents and adults who are interested in entrepreneurship
and grant writing.
